Owner & Head Baker

Honey Blossom Pantry is a small-batch bakery rooted in care, craft, and intention. I create comforting classics with close attention to flavor, texture, and balance, using high quality ingredients and time-tested techniques that allow each element to shine. Baking has always been my way of expressing love, a practice shaped by patience and a deep appreciation for the small details that make something truly satisfying. I believe nourishment goes beyond sustenance. It lives in pleasure, in pause, and in moments worth savoring, whether that's an everyday treat or something meant to mark a special celebration. Each bake is made to be both beautiful and delicious, offering a sense of warmth, familiarity, and quiet indulgence. My hope is that Honey Blossom Pantry feels thoughtful, comforting, and just a little luxurious- something to linger over.

Our Story

Before there was a bakery, there was a bus.

Years ago, Christopher and I stepped away from conventional living and built a home inside a converted school bus. We traveled slowly and intentionally, learning to live with less and cultivate more: more skill, more resilience, more trust in our ability to build what we needed with our own hands. That season shaped us. It taught us patience. It taught us stewardship. It taught us how to create stability even while moving.

Wherever we’ve been, we’ve always built together.

We ran a landscaping and estate maintenance business, caring for properties as if they were our own. We learned the discipline of tending something consistently, showing up in every season, understanding that growth takes time and attention. Later, we launched a catering venture, coordinating details and long hours side by side. Through it all, we created Honey Blossom Artistry, our stationery business rooted in celebrating life’s meaningful milestones.

The industry has changed over the years, but the rhythm has remained the same: we cultivate what we build. We nurture it. We refine it. And we grow it patiently, together as a team.

Even while we were traveling and working, we carried a quiet dream — land of our own. A small permaculture farm rooted in sustainability and self-sufficiency. A place where the work of our hands directly nourishes our family and community. Chickens in the yard. A garden grown with intention. Systems designed thoughtfully, where nothing is wasted and everything has purpose.

When we welcomed our daughter into the world, that vision deepened. We wanted her childhood to feel rooted. Familiar. Local. Surrounded by community and the steady presence of family.

So we came home.

Returning to Maryland after so many years away feels like a full circle. I grew up here. Now we are raising our daughter here; intentionally planting our family in the same soil that once shaped me. What was once a place I left has become the place we are choosing to build.

This bakery is part of that cultivation.

It is our way of planting roots; contributing something tangible and honest to the community we love. It allows us to stay close to our daughter while building a life aligned with our values: quality over haste, sustainability over excess, connection over convenience.

Every batch is made with the same care that has shaped every chapter of our story. We believe in tending things well — our work, our family, our land, and our community.

We are building slowly, intentionally, gratefully, and we are so glad you’re here.
